Former insurance broker pleads guilty to theft | Crime
MUSCATINE, Iowa--On December 17 in a Muscatine County District Court, former insurance broker Shawn Michael Mask, plead guilty to Theft in the First Degree. Investigation by the State of Iowa Insurance Division showed that Mask had misappropriated approximately $21,900 in client funds while employed as an insurance broker working in Muscatine.
The Iowa Insurance Division had previously revoked Mask's license to deal in insurance products in the State of Iowa.
Sentenceing will take place February 1, 2013.
